Pros: * form factor allows under table mounting of UPS with great access to outlets and on/off switch * the CPS USB controls available via USB interface works with many devices out of the box without additional software * wide variety of Windows/MacOS/Linux hosts supported, most commercial NAS devices (QNAP, Synology), even a Raspberry Pi 3 or 4!

plug and works on a customer's server (running a relatively old version of Centos Linux). Just all that you want from an UPS.

The software provides good, very complete information, I like the detailed performance info and good event logs, so you know at all times what is going on. Strong native Linux support, great run time. This is the UPS to live by.

I have been using this UPS to backup and protect a cable modem, high-powered wireless router, a 4-port cisco VPN router, a 5-port cisco switch, a Synology DS-416Play NAS with 4 HDDs, a large dell laptop, docking station, and 3 large monitors. Although each device reduces the battery time (which I was expecting), this device has been extremely reliable during surges, spikes, and short power outages. None of my devices have had power issues, and the high joule count is better than most surge protectors on the market (factor that into the cost, and the price tag seems very small). Until I need it, I can't even tell it's there because it's small and quiet. The buttons on the top are easy to use and also tell you how many minutes of backup time it has based on the current power draw. I am ordering a second one of these for another office, and have also recommended this product to collegues.

Fit right into the UPS system without having to power the network servers down. Hot swappable.

I had previously bought a CyberPower CP1500AVR900W to support my substantial Home Theater System which was suffering problems with frequent power fluctuations from my rural electric service. It has solved all of those problems and even kept the entire system going during several brief power outages. I bought this less powerful but more fully-featured unit for my computer system. It seems to have no audible alarms but when it comes on an LCD display illuminates. Using a switch below the disply, you can toggle through the input voltage, the output voltage and hertz, a bar graph of the battery power and some other useful information. When the power goes out (I just pulled the plug for a test) the LCD display shows a bar graph of the battery power, a bar graph of the power load upon the unit and calculates the time it will continue to power those devices, which in my case was 33 minutes. I didn't load the shutdown software as I have time to do it myself.

- Solid connection that I do not worry about coming lose at all - Amp draw meter is extremely handy - Very long (maybe too long?) power cable - Lots of jacks - Front-facing jack is a nice bonus touch - PRICE

Slim, Easy to Read Display

I recently moved into a new construction house, Dec 2010. Upon moving in, my treadmill began to trip the 15 amp circuit breaker. It previously had no issues and 15 amp was the requirement. I had even tried it in a 20 amp dedicated outlet. Come to find out, new North Carolina regualtions require the quick trip circuit breakers in new construction. This surge suppressor fixed the problem. I can use the treadmill (it is an upper model Sole treadmill so the amps spike on start up) in every mode, incline and speed and it has yet to trip the breaker again. There were several types that claimed to solve the problem, most were more expensive. This is the only one I tried but with 4 outlets and no more problem I highly recommend it.

This battery is awesome. I replaced a couple of smaller UPS's with this one in a telco closet.. love the fact that i can just plug this into our comcast business modem and it goes to the net and does it's thing in the cloud. This did come with a 20Amp plug so i had to change it over to the regular straight plug.. but you can get adapters for those.

Very quiet. Small. Does the job that my old APC SMART UPS 2200 did. Nice clear LCD screen in the front that clearly represents information. USB enabled. Energy efficient.
