Works as expected. keeps my devices running long enough for temporary power outages or for me to shut things down if I need to.

I decided to search for a Tripp Lite product after having noticed that many businesses use this brand and figured they were probably built better and were actually tested to meet certain standards and would have to endure a much tougher environment than someones living room. The ISOBAR6ULTRA has a metal housing, is rated for a much higher surge than most retail suppressors and also has EMI/noise filtering. Additionally it has isolated filter banks which means that devices plugged into different outlets are isolated from one another so if one device has an interference, noise or power problem it will not affect the other devices plugged into the surge suppressor. Icing on the cake is a Protection Light which ensures that all filtering components are still functioning and a lifetime replacement warranty. I was looking for a better surge suppressor than the cheap plastic suppressors with equally cheap electronics inside available in big box retail stores. This is it.

Replacing battery is easier, less expensive, and better for the environment than replacing the UPS.

Coordinates well with the computer. I am running a 23" monitor and system with higher end graphics card and 650W power supply on this UPS. The system shows a drain of 210-225W while it's running and reports about 14 mins of run time, which is about right for testing. I have the system configured to shut down with 5 mins battery time remaining and that's happened once while I was out of town with no problems, also once while I was here (see below). Our area has had some issues in the past year with short bursts of power out (5-15 secs) during storms. While everything else in the house popped on and off 3-4 times before the power finally gave out for about an hour, the computer kept running just fine. I finished my work (about 6 mins) then closed everything and shut down myself. Lots of headaches saved that day. Newegg shipping was quick and quite cheap given the weight.

Been waiting for a storm to submit a review. This unit maintained my internet connection during a Tornado Warning and subsequent power outage. I love it!

Ok, to get this out of the way--ONE button does everything. Not the most convenient thing for consumers to do but simplifies things for the maker of the product except when people call them and go "blah blah, how do I do this or dat?" The instructions come with it on how to set settings though. Voltage trip range could be set to sensitive, normal, or high. I left it on normal, which is preset, and it tripped once within a week--I heard a click from the unit, which means it activated. Also, audio alarm could be disabled (or couple other options as to when it would activate), all of which also is set by one button.. meh. You have to hold button for so long, blah, do so long of a press blah, blah blah... meh. Green power LED is very nice looking but too bright for bedrooms, so I had to put a sticky note paper over it and paint that area with a black permanent marker (in reverse order) to keep that light from shining brightly in the room. Overall: it is a very nice polished looking product for a reasonable price.

I've used about 15 of these so far, they have been working flawlessly so far. Used for remote location network rack equipment protection. Replaced cheapo APC brick style UPS's that had a high failure rate. The LCD is nice, it blanks after a few minutes so the bright light isn't on constantly.

Works as advertised. Nice power display.

Able to run my gaming computer at max potential with my monitor for 3 minutes or more, enough to withstand a electric blink.
