The AMD Ryzen 5 5500 processor is a low-cost way to get Zen 3. Because the Zen 3 processors are backward compatible to B450 motherboards, I was able to upgrade my system without having to buy a motherboard as well.

Fast, fast, fast. Went from a 9900k and a 3800x system to this. I can notice a large difference. Have it paired with a RTX 4080 and an Alienware 3423DW monitor. Will need to update Bios and Chipset update to function properly. I found it very easy to do on a completely new system. Havent had issues with cooling.

-Solid black color scheme with rugged aesthetics around the heatsinks and accent metals -5x M.2 onboard -A lot of usb slots in the back and a good mix of speeds -Easy release for PCIE main slot and M2 heat shields is appreciated

Fast, easy install, stable

Pre attached backplate is a nice feature. The wifi antenna magnetic base is nice and the antenna connector is easy to attach (and remove) on the rear panel. Two M.2 SSD slots is a plus also.. Windows 11 installed with no issues. WiFi 6 capable.

Fastest in the world

The MSI MPG X870E Carbon Wi-Fi is an extremely well-built motherboard with TONS of great features. With the support for 7000, 8000, and 9000 series processors, the amount of RAM supported, Wi-Fi-7 capability, dual LAN ports, and a large number of USB ports, this motherboard can handle the demands of any gamer or enthusiast.

What I love from the motherboard is its very presentable and looks great Very nice to navigate through the motherboard with the onboard writings Has about everything you need And cant never go wrong with a little rgb on the board.

Future proofing with USB4, and PCIE 5 for both graphics and NVME. Don't need the latter yet but when I do won't need to replace the board.

Decent gaming performance at stock, performs notably better than my overclocked 7700x Excellent overclocking performance, gets similar gaming performance to my 7800x3D after tuning ram (running DDR5 8000 with manually tuned timings) and overclocking the cores, D2D, NGU, and Ring Ridiculous multithreading, it's an ultra 9 285k in all but name. in many cases it's faster due to the increase uncore clocks at stock. Absolutely shreds my rendering workloads. no Price, $300 is midrange tier pricing in the big 2026 unfortunately. But this CPU is very clearly very high end.

quiet, cheap, good

I got this on a deal, turned out to be a solid Little mobo. I'm using for a little home server behind the tv. Started up on the first try, and have had zero problems since.

Very well made and robust feel. Heatsinks are pretty cool. Great option for builders on a budget somewhat and still want access to good features, CPUS, and GPUS. I'm new in the PC building business and it worked out well in my case (e.g. no boot issues).

I have been using Artic Silver for years, and It has never let me down. 4000 reviews show many people use it.

Booted without needing to flash bios with Ryzen 5 5500

MSI products have always worked well for me and this motherboard is great just like the others I have used for my builds in the past.

Color matched my all white build perfectly. First time with built in IO shield and I hope all model go that way in the future, It is a very nice feature. The software to control ARGB is very easy to adjust to my preference. I really like the large heatsink on the main Nvme. Allows overclocking of my DDR5 6000 ram and my 7600x cpu.

looks absolutely beautiful, performs as described couldn't be happier

This thing is packed with features, lots of high power consumption consideration (considering it's an OC Monster). Tons of ease and quality of life features like the EZ PCI-E Release, the M.2 quick release hold downs, and white peripherals.

insane performance for high refresh ultrawide and 4K massive memory bandwidth and capacity quiet and cool operation
