Pretty easy to install I'm getting better fps overall compared to my 3700 am4 cpu

So fast, great for gaming, one of the best CPUs I've used

Very fast processor, much better than my intel core i9 13900, and produces more frames in games for my RTX 4090

Fastest in the world

Decent gaming performance at stock, performs notably better than my overclocked 7700x Excellent overclocking performance, gets similar gaming performance to my 7800x3D after tuning ram (running DDR5 8000 with manually tuned timings) and overclocking the cores, D2D, NGU, and Ring Ridiculous multithreading, it's an ultra 9 285k in all but name. in many cases it's faster due to the increase uncore clocks at stock. Absolutely shreds my rendering workloads. no Price, $300 is midrange tier pricing in the big 2026 unfortunately. But this CPU is very clearly very high end.

This is my first AMD CPU since the days of the Athlon 64 X 2. I had really liked the AMD chips (I still have a working K6-III 450 that OCs to 600MHz on an old Compaq Presario), and my first builds in the early 2000s were all AMD. But I shifted to Intel with the introduction of the Core2Duo line of CPUs which were amazingly cool-running and OCable and never went back to AMD until now. My last Intel build which I still use was an i5-13600k build from 2023, a great cpu. But Intel seems kind of stalled right now, so I opted for AMD Ryzen. I have never spent such a large sum on a cpu (and adjusting for inflation), but I'm old and decided to go for it. Using this cpu has been a learning curve to say the least, with CCDs, 3d cache, core parking, and other features of these chips with which I was unfamiliar. But wow, this 9950X3D is jaw-dropping. Currently, I am not OCing but I am undervolting. And at stock, some of the CCD1 cores run at 5750+ stable, and all the CCD0 at 5500+. None of my temps (package, CCD or individual cores) exceed mid-70s (peak bursts) and average in the mid-60s under gaming (FS 2024, Cyberpunk 2077) or benchmark (OCCT, Cinebench) demands. And this is using only a 240mm AIO. The AMD chipset drivers work great, and when paired with Win 11 Game Bar and a Win 11 Balanced power option, the non-3D cached cores idle at 4.3GHz when gaming just as they are supposed to do. This is all new to me, but I've learned, and it's just magic. I'm using a 5070 Ti and 64G of Corsair Vengeance (I bought in early 2025 when it was cheap). My gaming is smooth, apps the same (it blows through Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop), and everything snaps. Hats off to AMD.

Best CPU for both gaming and productivity so far. Definitely a very good upgrade from a 13th Gen Intel i9 that had instability issues. Doesn't get so hot when multitasking. This thing is fast

I had an old PC that I built almost 11 years ago with an AMD processor. With this new AMD 5, it is like night and day with the speed so far. If I need to, I can upgrade it to a faster processor since it is AMD 5.

-Fast -Great OC capability -Great synergy with AMD products

Easy to install Easy setup

Pop the CPU in and up and running no problems at all.

-Easy to install -Really like the LGA socket on these new Ryzen chips -Great performance and I like the Eco mode for these chips

Awesome communication. Quick and helpful responses. They answered all my questions and provided a wealth of information to get my system up and running. Very professional and knowledgeable. Would buy from again for sure!

I hit 45000 on cpu benchmark Huge difference compared to my old Ryzen5 5600g

Runs cool. Price. Free Intel badge. NO RGB. Next version will be faster. An endless story.

Exactly what i needed to get my PC built. Great price to performance as of Oct. 2024 Great gaming chip for cheap.

Faster game play in intense gaming sessions than the 13900K@5.8. Still running the 285K at stock settings.

the extra E cores are a game changer less power draw that i9

-Fast and furious -Gaming beast
