This inverter is working good for me so far. I have only been using it for about a week now and it is charging my phone and lap top and I even used the AC outlet on it to charge a battery for my small cordless drill and cordless LED light. So basically it is doing exactly what I purchased it for.

We have about 15 of these in use (all ordered from newegg). Absolutely top quality. After dealing with constant problems with other cheaper inverters/chargers we decided to go with these tripp lites. Regardless of the plastic body, they are very sturdy in the key areas. The manual VERY CLEARLY tells you the amount of torque required (3.5 newton meters) to secure the cables. They also say that insufficient tightening will void the warranty. Look at it like this, if it breaks then I can't imagine tripp lite not taking care of it. But I also can't imagine that if you tightened it properly you would have to worry about it breaking. VERY detailed manual. Although I wish it told you what size of hex wrench to use (7/32! I'll save you the hassle). We use these for mobile work stations that are in use 12 hours a day. We never turn them off, and have had one location using these for over 5 months now non-stop. For our application these are incredibly nice.

cost effective, good quality, good performance
