Price to performance on this board is good. BIOS is easy to understand and use. Storing fan profiles in flash drive to survive BIOS update is good. Q flash UEFI updates without are a good feature. DDR4 performs within 1-3% of DDR5 as tested in games and most production workloads at time of review, so buy with confidence. Has modern TPM for Windows 11 and Bitlocker.

This ASUS motherboard is a good quality replacement for Intel 8th gen cpu. It works fine with AMD or Nvidia video cards. Sound is HD only from HDMI video port on a monitor with speakers. very nice mobo has 6 m.2 slots and a proper igpu lane which is why i wanted to upgrade from the z790 apex encore other than for cudimm ram OC. Im glad theres finally an XOC mobo with a proper igpu lane that ill use with tb4 unlike last gen where i didnt have the option
