After a year of use, the 2TB I bought is still working perfectly. Great reliability and transfer speeds. I like it enough that I just bought another one last week. I'll write another review for it after I put a few thousand hours on it.

This thing works great for PC storage drive to transfer files, music, etc. connects with usb 3.0, or usb-C. I use the usb-C connection and it is pretty fast moving files back and forth to it. This drive also works great for playstation 4 to setup as extra drive to hold more games on. Same can be said using it as an extra drive for the xbox one S, gives you more space for apps, games, etc. Portable so you can take it anywhere you might need to bring for files- like work, school.

It works. You plug it in to your USB port and away it goes. A pretty good backup program gets installed and you just tell it what you want. What more could you want. The competitive product I had decided it needed all new software which didn't work. You do have to wonder why companies insist on trashing functioning programs with stuff that just doesn't work.

Great product, no problems so far.

Western Digital drives are a constant staple for me. They are rock solid and never fail.

It's quieter than WD 8tb MyBook Helium HDD. I am very satisfied with the purchase at a reasonable price.

Worked as stated. Used on old 500 GB hard drive . Computer recognized the drive. Using drive to store family pictures.

I would recommend Western Digital HDDs (or even their SSDs, I've got those, too) to anyone needing to expand or enlarge their existing system. Easy to install and configure to your Windows OS.

Cheap. No tool installation. I like the blue activity light. UASP feature gave increased speed to the HDD that i took out of a laptop to use for backup

Shipping from the U.S to Cebu, Philippines took only 5 days. I commend Newegg for big improvement in their item delivery. Usually shipping to here will take 15-30 days to say the least. Also glad the item has it's 5-year warranty from Seagate aside from the standard warranty from Newegg. Registered the item on Seagate's website and it acknowledged the serial numbers on my 2 units as legit. Although actual warranty says it only has 4.5 years remaining even though my purchase was made just a week ago and received it just yesterday, Dec. 7, 2021. So far so good. Thanks Newegg!

As I said in a prior review for a WD I would recommend this drive over a comparable WD. However in some case(s) I would recommend the WD over a Seagate. It really depends on the trade off(s) and so on. The Seagate ran just a tad hotter than I would like. About 12 degree(s) over. At about 111 degree Fahrenheit. That may not seem hot but over the long term will add up. I also had it in a external docking station.

plugged in, has worked for the past two weeks. No overt warnings about excessive bad sectors

-- New unopened HDD with zero hours of use delivered. -- Paid about 1/2 price of what the same HDD in new condition (Non-Refurbished) is currently going for. (Paid $135 and current sale on this HDD is $275. -- This is a fast and relatively quiet spinning platter storage device.

It's a NAS Western Digital. Works just as expected.

Easy to clone NVMe drives that would otherwise be a huge pain. No setup, built in functionality, just works. can handle a larger Target NVMe, which was my use case, upgrading an existing OS drive in a Laptop.

Shucked. Received a White label WD80EMAZ. Ran the drive through my torture tests and put into production. Will update if it fails.

The 4 TB space is amazing. Love it... I can move files from multiple flash drives and old laptops to this one location and I love that. Consolidating my files in one place.
