It's pretty straight forward, plug and play type of external device.

-More NVME Drives in your computer = Better -Doesn't require a motherboard with PCIe bi-furcation capability (which expands compatibility considerably) - this is accomplished by leveraging an ASMedia controller chip -Fast 'enough' -Easy install (both for the card itself and for NVME installation) -Perfect for adding more storage and/or more operating systems to a computer

Orico makes a solid 2.5 to 3.5 SATA conversion bay. Easy to set up, ultra easy to mount, and will look great in your configuration.

Purchased this to move my m.2 drive (mydigitalSSD BPX 512) from the inferno that was the space between my 1070 and mobo. Just to note I did not experience any throttling beforehand, I just wanted to move it into a more breathable position. Temps immediately lowered by about 15-20c (from around 80c before, yeesh), Installation was a simple plug n play, and just in case anyone is wondering it DID include another m.2 screw!!! I had lost mine upon initial installation of my drive, so this was a welcome sight. Also I would like to note zero performance loss, and upon my first boot with it installed it worked without any interaction.

Hooks up nice.
