My benchmark training times went from 210 and 270 seconds on my old i7-something Dell, to 6 and 9 seconds on my new i9-13900k with RTX A4500.

great for a workstation application

Great card for LLMs and, because of the current nvidia drivers can be used in parallel with any other reasonably recent nvidia card as a booster. It is not quite a primary card, not fast enough for gaming, but ideal for LLMs and should be able to contribute more raytracing capabilities to the main card.

Running Mint 19.3, ran perfectly out of the box open source drivers (including VAAPI). Multi-monitor: no sweat - enumerates from top to bottom. VDPAU+Vulkan support with additional packages that are in the main repos. Get about 1000FPS in vulkan-smoketest on this build. Low power.

Was a breeze to install, drivers worked first install. Excellent bang for the workstation buck.
