Got to back up ALL my precious photos and videos of friends and family no longer alive. I also safely backed up all personal and financial documents for the family. I even have purchased a second one to do an additional back up to store off sight.

USB C enough said. This is the fastest External Drive I own.

Over weekend shipping even in holidays

I got a great deal on this because it was on sale. I needed big portable storage. I had another 2TB thumb drive, but when my laptop fell it nearly broke off the plug. I'd been using an extender with multiple sockets to avoid that, but this was way better. The yellow loop comes off, and then one end goes in the drive and the other in the USB-C port. Connections are firm. It feels extremely durable--metal casing and no projecting or moving parts to break or wear out. I feel like I could drive over it and it would still be OK. I can't speak technically about speed, but it's plenty fast for me. The little light at the end is always flashing colors while it's plugged in!

I was running out of space and needed this fast. Newegg delivered the shield in a couple of days. Highly recommend Samsung t7 Shield.

Very easy to install. Nice and fast, also.

Got this to level up on my SSD speed. I plugged this directly as my external working disk on my Mac mini m1. Works well and faster than my Samsung T5. It looks more attractive than my old drive lol. Haven't tried its ruggedness yet.
