My first Nvme was the WD 500 gb model of this series and I bought 3 of them . I used them on 2 different builds and recently upgraded to Pcie 4 and bought another brand for the OS drive and decided on Pcie 3 for my Apps and Games drive . I can't really tell the difference between the two .... except in benchmarks .

Very fast, the optional software worked well and device tested at high-end of expected speed, no errors whatsoever. Can be a great price, seemed top 5.0 NVMe when I looked various sites and reviews. I was very busy that day, buying all sorts of items, wish I HAD done a simple math thing, the marginal cost for the EXTRA TB of larger one (2TB) WOULD have been the one I SHOULD have bought, for my needs.

Cheap small gut I put it in a caddy and I am using it as a USB drive for my phone for travel using OTG storage, It works perfectly and is fast enough for streaming media. Transfer from the computer is easy so it has made a nice little drive for very little money!
