Very fast, the optional software worked well and device tested at high-end of expected speed, no errors whatsoever. Can be a great price, seemed top 5.0 NVMe when I looked various sites and reviews. I was very busy that day, buying all sorts of items, wish I HAD done a simple math thing, the marginal cost for the EXTRA TB of larger one (2TB) WOULD have been the one I SHOULD have bought, for my needs.

- SAMSUNG 990 Pro 2TB had current firmware already installed. - Samsung Magician software has built-in Data Migration tool. - Heatsink is sleek and solid; feels like a good mass of metal is used as it feels real weighty compared to my 980 Pro that was purchased without a heatsink; it's just an observation, didn't really analyze it. I cobbled together a copper frankenstein cooler from old mobo parts to cool the 980 Pro and the sleek 990 Pro only runs a few degrees warmer. - 990 Pro benchmarks are as advertised and the old 980 Pro saturates the PCI3 channel of the secondary slot so getting the best performance out of the B550.

well it's Samsung, plus latest model, so as expected everything good so far, hope it runs for years! enjoying it so far! extremely fast.

I replaced my sshd. With this one in my 2018 Asus FX504, and what a difference!!!! Very happy so far!!!

high read and write speed - everything flies; better results in comparison with 980 PRO; five-year warranty; adequate operating temperatures in comparison with competitors; reliability.

Holds all my games, even the ones I don't play but installed anyway because it's way too much space.

Replaced my 2TB HDD with this, using the Clone function in DiskGenius. Worked no problem. I wasn't expecting the level of performance increase I got, but I definitely welcome it! Will continue to monitor to make certain it lasts. Never heard of KingSpec until I bought this one. Hoping it is reliable.

So first and foremost this my first time using an nvme drive since it came out in the earlies, I always watch these youtube pc building videos and saw the guys using these drives. The price I got it at was very good so I bought two and when it arrived slotting them in was a bit scary I didn't want to break it on my first try but eventually I got around that fear and installation was very easy. I installed linux mint OS on one and used the other for steam games and. Booting the desktop and launching steam games was just a few seconds operating temperature was normal. Also its quit small and cute for it size.

For the price it works and provides the speeds as advertised which is like around 3.7 GB/s. Well see if I have any longevity issues like some of the lower reviews on here but installed today and speeds and temps are great thus far.

This is a great boot drive. Blazing fast read/write and functions perfectly.

--Performance similar to WD Blue drives but at about 15% less cost. --If doing SATA3 dual RAID 0, performance seems about the same as WD Blue.

So easy to use

Portable, simple setup, useful dual connector design

This is the best SSD you can get, and it seems to work great.

I purchased this NVME SSD because the price was great and I wanted to upgrade in size. I use it as the boot drive for my Lenovo laptop which only supports NVME Gen 3 x4. Gen 4 would not have given me any more performance. I have been happy with the performance.
