UniFi compatible and suited to the kinds of awful environmental conditions the old Ubiquiti Tough Switch Pro was perfect for. Being managed by UniFi rather than UISP simplifies the network, so it's GREAT to have this niche filled. Surprisingly useful to have more ports, didn't know we needed them until we had the option.

The MS305 (pay attention to the model number when purchasing) is a fine addition to a home network, especially with moving moderately large amounts of data between devices (pictures, streaming, archives) internally or via the Internet.

I had a huge issue with my computer, it would stutter and jutter every now and then for no apparent reason, my FPS would fall(even on the Windows desktop), my download speed would become dreadful; as in I would be downloading at 500kb-1mb, as opposed to the usual 6-7mb which I was accustomed to. I began to think, maybe it's my on board NIC(Network Interface Card), as these problems would emerge usually while I was on the web, with any browser, Chrome, Edge, or Firefox; since I got the sneaking suspicion that my default NIC was bad I bought this. This has solved all of the above problems, not more stuttering, perfect flawless and consistent connection on any browser; it was such a good buy, at a great cost.

Has 2x10Gbps slots, 8x2.5Gbps slots, and 16x1Gbps slots. All 24 of the RJ45 ports have a backlight that glows through the clear RJ45 connector on your cable to convey which port speed you achieved. Green is 2.5Gbps, white is 1Gbps, Red is 100Mbps. This makes it really easy to know if you have the right cable in the right slot.

I’ve ordered this switch but the deployment plan changed on the fly when I received the device. So I’ve requested a return, returned the device and received full refund with no issue. Thanks
