Easy to install, reliable. I have 5 of these units (or their USB-3 predecessors), some of them in service for 2+ Years. Contrary to another review, none of the 5 units I have produce any noticeable sound above a low hum.

Seems to be pretty well designed and built, albeit inexpensive. Note I didn't say "cheap". No frills approach but it seems to work. Offers USB 3.0 (2.0 compatible, which is what I'm using for now) and eSATA interfaces. The front display is interestingly designed: shows faults, which interface is in use, RAID mode and fan mode. 2 buttons to set RAID mode and fan mode. "Light bar" shows I/O activity. Reasonably quiet fan; seems to run pretty cool. Haven't actually checked the speed yet, but it seems pretty decent so far.
