To open the carafe, push button and the lid pops out. It is important to note the position of the thumb.
Step 2 - Pouring Regulation
Control the flow by applying or releasing pressure on the lid/push button. After practicing 3-4 times, you will become perfect.
Step 3 - Closing After Pouring
To close the carafe, simply push the carafe lid down with your thumb or palm to seal it back in place to get the best heat retaining property.

Do not filled a full pot of water, only filled to 4/5 water to leave enough space for reducing the pressure of lid.
