Has anyone tested this with Corsair Vengeance RAM? It looks as if they cut the fins away to fit bigger RAM heatsinks. If it will, I will definitely get this, as my liquid cooler is very loud when vamped up.

I use this cooler with dominator platinum modules and the heatsink fits fine. wether you can use the 2nd fan or not is another question as u will have to move it a little to fit, if your case is wide enough, np. mine wasn't so I purchased this- Air Series SP120 PWM High Performance Edition High Static Pressure Fan Twin Pack- and staggered them a little. works great, fairly silent fans -tho not as much as the noctua(I realy love noctua perf, just hate the look).
fyi I use the older vers(d14) and while that is a great cooler, the d15 is better. not by a lot but enough to notice.

Question 3

do the 4-pin fan connectors in this product come with a split/fork. And do they work as a normal 4-pin connector would when connected in such a way that both fans are connected to the split/fork and the split/fork connected to the Motherboard? That is to say, in such a configuration is the speed of the fan adjustable?

Yes there is a split to connect them to a single 4 pin adapter and it will work as adjustable since it's designed around Pulse Width Modulation. I control mine with the Asus AI Suite III software on my Z87 Sabertooth with no issues. They are quiet and cool.

Question 4

what is the air flow ...one side to other or both drawing air from the middle ? can you relocated the fans to the outside ?

The way the fans clip on to the heat sinks are completely interchangeable so you can move fans to  direct airflow however you want. You can move both to the outside but idk if i would suggest that just because the current setup is probably more efficient cooling. With that said I'm currently only running with the center fan attached in my rig.

Does this come with a 3rd fan mounting bracket?

Unless they have changed there policy (which I doubt), Noctua will send extra clips for free.  I contacted them about extra clips for my NH-D14 to purchase them.  Instead, they shipped them to me free of charge.  I did have to verify that I owned  one, but that was easy.

Question 6

So I have a question. Everyone says this thing is huge. Some have even returned it because it simply cant fit in their case. Will this big boy fit in a Rosewill THOR V2. Also, have there been any complaints about the motherboard warping because of its heftiness? After all, this thing weighs almost 3 pounds... and with that much weight hanging off the side of the motherboard, you'd think it would?? Thought?

MoBo are designed to hold up to 3 pound coolers.  I have used this cooler for 10 months in a Lien Li full size ATX case on a Gigabyte 880 GM MoBo.  Great cooler and very quiet.

My friend builds PCs and uses this cooler and has used previous models with no issue.

Question 7

will it work just with just one fan installed instead of both fans?

Yes, but you'll lose some efficiency.  If it's a problem with memory clearance, it may be necessary to use just the rear-facing fan.  The other thing to consider, is how well ventilated your system is.  If you already have multiple fans or a well vented case without numerous fans installed or even necessary, then there should be no real impact with just a single fan.  Just use a proper thermal compound and apply it properly and make sure there's no obstructions to the cooler for proper air flow.

Is it possible to switch out the fans on this, for say white ones to match my build?

Yes, but in order to use the existing clamps, I would assume a replacement would need to have a shroud with a compatible shape.

Don't act on this without researching, but from my experience, I don't even think the fans are necessary unless one is doing serious overclocking.

I have the Cooler Master HAF X. Would I have any problem installing this in it?

No problem at all. I actually had to stagger fans, due to high sinks on my memory, and it still fit without issues. This is partial parts list from my 2014 build:

I have researched it a slight amount. The NH-D15 will most likely fit in that case,  so long as you have an ATX motherboar. And there must be no fans on the top side of the window.
