It is not wireless.  The last two letters on a brother brand printer tell you what they are.  In this case it is a DN, which is duplex (2 sided print) and network (wired connection).  If you want duplex and wireless look for a printer with DW.

does this all in one have the ability to scan MULTIPLE pages to ONE PDF?

Yes. It has an automatic document feeder that very easily scans multiple pages into a single pdf. You can also scan separate pages on the flat bed portion of the scanner and include them all in one single pdf file.

Can you connect this printer to a Cisco Linksys EA4500 so that you can print from wired computers as well as wireless computers?

Yes, As long as you connect this printer to the same network that your wired and wireless are accessing.  I always connect my printers using a wired ethernet connection.  I never liked connecting my printers to the network via wifi; wired connections are more stable.

Can you scan a bound book or magazine flat on the plate, or only single pages through the document feeder?

The scanner cover opens up like a regular Xerox.  So you can copy/scan book, magazine, or whatever that won't feed through the feeder.  Feeder is just an added convenience for scanning or copying multiple pages.  I have two of similar kinds.  This is good but I like Samsung better.

what is the deminsions of the printer?

The dimensions on the factory site are correct 15.9 W 15.7 D 12.4 H for the non-movable parts.

I can add that the paper supports, fully extended , folds out an additional 4" for the right one and the front one folds out 2". They are not really required to be extended for letter size paper.

The upper document feeder input tray when open makes the unit 15" tall, you need an additional 3" when folding the tray out (basically 18" if it is going to be below a shelf).

The power receptacle is recessed and does not add to the depth required.

Two questions:

Does it do duplex scanning (with the user flipping the stack of paper over)?

Can I purchase an extra paper tray?

Yes.  There's duplex scanning (1 sided to 2 sided) which just mean it does won't scan both side for you automatically. But you can scan each side one at a time to produce a 2 sided copy.  Don't believe this printer can user tray attachments; do let the site know if you find out.  Hope I answered your questions to better understanding.

Can it scan double-sided documents?

No, it's a duplex printing. you're looking for the CDN or the CDW models. DNs are Duplex printing with Ethernet network printing. Those with W are wireless network printing. Good luck on your search.

Question 8

I am looking at this model, Brother 7460DN. Newegg specs say 2400x600 resolution, the Brother brochure says 600x600. How do you explain the discrepancy?

I believe you have the wrong printer brochure or there was a misprint.  Both sites have similar specs under this printer. I wish I could post the link, but Newegg does not permit it.  Make sure you have the same exact printer, there are other 7400s made by Brother.
