I am pretty sure it comes with a charging unit and cord, but what all does this unit come with, because for some reason I am unable to see that information. Also what type of charger does this unit take?

When I purchased this a few months ago, it had said in the listing a case was being sent with it, however no case was in the shipment. No big deal. It was just the unit and charger inside. The I-Pad 4 uses the lightning cable that is the current Apple Mobile device charger. I hope this helps.

Is the IPad locked or unlocked?

This IPad is wi fi Only so if you are Asking if its "Unlocked" meaning that its not tied to a specific carrier then it is. But this is wifi only so you can not buy a data plan and expect to use this on its own as a mobile device with its own mobile data plan.  However it is wifi enabled so if you have Wi Fi signal or another hotspot enabled device it will work with that. If your asking if it comes "Unlocked" and mean that it has no pass code to start it up then the answer is also Yes. It comes in basic Setup mode where you enter your apple ID and make your own passwords. Hope this Helps :)

How well does it run apps and view videos? I plan on using this instead of my phone to watch/listen to youtube and twitch while at work. (Using wifi of couse)

Do you have any other issues with how the apps run? This will be my first iPad so i wanna make a good decision lol Thanks in advance

We have had no problems watching YouTube , twitch or running apps. we have been very pleased. we also watch a lot of Netflix on it with no problems.

Can this iPad software be updated to 10.0.5 ? I have an iPad 3 Retina display but it won't update past 9.3.5.  Some games need a 10  or better in software update

The highest my iPad 4 Retina had been able to update is 10.3.3. Quick note, if go to accessibility settings and turn reduce motion and reduce transparency on it will help with performance.

WILL THIS IPAD RUN MICROSOFT WORD?

Technically yes but it’s outdated now and can’t use iOS 12 and will be slowed down by Apple.

I know this may not be able to be answered definitively, but was wondered how much difference there is in a "B Grade" and an "A Grade"? I can accept a few minor scratches but don't want one that is beat up terribly.  Thanks.

I just purchased an Apple iPad "B" grade and was pleasantly surprised at the great condition of the unit.

Very minor scratches on the screen and tiny dings on the tablets edge. Not noticeable when viewing.

The condition of my tablet exceeded my expectations and I would purchase again.

Is the battery replaced in the refurb iPad? The battery has a limited lifetime.
